Exploring Creativity Through Art (Ages 9 and 15 ) beginners to intermediate

Join our engaging and interactive online art class designed for children ages 9 and up! This class provides young artists with the opportunity to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills. Learners will be taught about lines, shapes, sketching, perspective, creating dimensions, and other drawing techniques.  

Research has shown that art is important to child development because it supports the development of problem-solving skills, and fine motor skills, and is a great indicator of future career success. Because of this, This class will cover many beginning drawing techniques. Each week, I will be covering a different topic. Creativity will be encouraged throughout the class. The class will follow the following structure:

Demonstration/technique/topic

Drawing and painting with acrylic and oil pastels.

I will teach using demonstrations throughout the class. 

My teaching style is relaxed. I like to use encouragement in order to promote skill growth. 

The learners will be able to interact with me as well as with other learners throughout each lesson.
